Population: Adolescents (age 12 – 17) with trouble with the legal system, school or at home with alcohol and substance use issues.
Service: Teens in trouble with the legal system, at school or at home may benefit from attending special classes or services. Bridges Early Intervention offers structured behavior development curriculum specific to the problems presented by the teen. Teens arrested or cited for minor infractions may be able to participate in our special classes to fulfill their legal obligation.

Service: Substance Use Disorder Services (SUDS) is a program designed to provide assistance to teens under probation supervision. Teens may be experimenting or using alcohol or drugs, but have no previous history or treatment experience.

SAFIR is offered in various locations throughout San Diego county including Chula Vista, La Mesa, Poway, Escondido and Encinitas. Locations are subject to periodic change.
Population: Teens between the ages of 12 – 18 are welcome to attend. At least one parent or responsible adult involved in the care of the teen must also be in attendance.
Service: SAFIR is a “family participation” model and requires a minimum of one responsible adult to attend group sessions with the teen. Weekly groups facilitated by knowledgeable and skilled bilingual drug and alcohol counselors, Recovery oriented content that supports abstinence from alcohol and drugs, Teens and parents are to attend the same location and time.
