These resources provide easy, helpful information to determine whether or not you or your loved may have a problem with substance (drugs, alcohol, prescription drugs) abuse or addiction and how to get help.

Hotlines

You can also call Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)’s National Helpline (1-800-662-HELP or TTY 1-800-487-4889) which is a confidential, free 24 hours/7 days a week information service for those facing mental health and substance use disorders. Information is available in both English and Spanish. This service provides referrals to local treatment centers, support groups, and community-based organizations.

You can also visit their online substance use treatment locator or send your zip code via text message to HELP4U (43578) to find help near you.

National Drug Helpline (1-844-289-0879) is also a confidential, free 24 hours/7 days a week information and referral service.

AA Big Book Free – for Alcoholics Anonymous

Uses the 12-step program to help you stay sober and you have access to the AA Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. It also includes an AA meeting finder, sobriety tracker, podcasts, and personal stories to motivate you in your own journey.
