# Opt in to SMS text messages about your child's visits

Sign up for SMS text messages about your child’s appointments and care gaps at CPCMG. After completing opt-in, you will receive SMS text messages for ALL patients who have your phone number in their chart, including reminders during the week before scheduled visits.

1. Text the word “**start**” to **81604**, *OR s*can this QR code, which opens your SMS messaging app and prepares the start message.
2. Then send the message.

1. You will receive a confirmation that you opted in to messages.
